Here we come
The Miss Teen USA 2010 experience was one I will cherish forever or at least until I reach Miss Universe one day. I met some great girls representing our States. I was hanging out with my new twin sister, Miss USA Rima listening to Reggeton backstage as we got our makeup done. What are the odds?
I competed at a National level for the most prestigious organization of Miss UniverseOrganization (MUO), signed autographs, had a guy tatoo on his chest Mr. Florida Teen USA, met great MUO staff and finally got to meet Paula the President of MUO. The days were filled with activities at the Atlantis, Bahamas. We even had some girl bonding time with 50 other young ladies all wanting that one crown. Each of us worked hard to be there and I made some great new friends . I must say reaching top 15 for the State of Florida is a major accomplishment. And to be one of the only two Latina’s selected for Top 15 was another major accomplishment (Go NY). The spot of Top 15 had only been done twice before in Florida and Florida has never won a Miss USA or Miss Teen USA titles. I was able to accomplish so much due to the support of the amazing coaching team of PageantReady, sponsors, family, friends, Miss Florida USA 2011 (Lissette Garcia), Donny & Madonna, Cotto’s, Gasper, Knowell’s, Pucker’s, Megan Clementi and Gravitt family. The second best feeling to being called top 15 was watching my best friend and roommate, Kamie Crawford become the new Miss Teen USA 2010. I also helped her pack for NY. Well what are friends. I gave it all I had on that stage. No second guessing or regrets just great memories. Thank you all my supporters, sponsors and especially PageantReady (PR) for being my coaching team throughout all my preparation stages. By the way Brooke got me swimsuit ready (whoop! whoop!) I waited three years to get there and Jules I know you have been with me since day one. It is important in life never to forget where you came from in order to know where your going. My name is Sean Opalenik and on July 24th of 2010 about last month i watched the 2010 Miss Teen USA on the internet and i have to say it was not good because they forgot to do a top 10 of the 2010 Miss Teen USA and i wish that the network tv stations should’ve had the Miss Teen USA Pageant on tv not on the internet. I wanted you to win the 2010 Miss Teen USA Pageant but you finished in the top 15 but to me you’ll always be my Miss Teen USA in my book.
